01 / THE CHALLENGE

Is “replacing the part”
really the best you can do?

The cost of a worn part is not just the part itself. Stopping, removing, remaking and reinstalling — the whole burden deserves a second look.

  1. 01

    Replacement cycles are too short

Chutes, pipes and liners wear fast, and frequent replacement has become routine.

  2. 02

    You need lower maintenance cost

Not only material — also downtime, labour hours for replacement and spare-part inventory.

  3. 03

    Off-the-shelf parts don't fit

Heat, impact, sticky powder, complex geometry — every machine runs under different conditions.

THE ANSWER IS NOT ALWAYS ANOTHER REPLACEMENT. Before replacing, re-engineer the surface that wears.

02 / THE TECHNOLOGY

Not just hard.
Engineered for your conditions.

D-Plate is a composite plate: a hardfacing layer rich in complex carbides, fused onto a steel base plate. BCC's proprietary Powder Overlay Process (POP) lets each specification follow your operating conditions.

  1. 01 / ABRASION

    Complex carbides where wear happens.

M₇C₃-type carbides in the hardfacing layer help resist abrasive wear from powder, ore and bulk material.

  2. 02 / ENGINEERING

    Recipe from real operating conditions.

We review abrasion, impact, temperature, corrosion and adhesion, then match alloy, base plate and overlay thickness. Hundreds of hardfacing recipes are available.

  3. 03 / FABRICATION

Not just a plate — ready to become a part.

It can be cut, rolled, bent, welded and bolted into liners, chutes and complex-geometry parts.

03 / PROVEN IN TESTS

Choose by test data,
not by impression.

ASTM G65 Procedure A results from NARIME (Vietnam National Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering), as stated in the manufacturer's documents. Use them to compare materials, separately from field-life prediction.

3–5×

Longer component lifespan

  • Direct TCO reduction

Fewer replacements mean lower labour cost and less spend on replacement material.

  • Mitigate downtime risk

A predictable wear rate turns unplanned outages into scheduled, budgeted maintenance.

Test values depend on test condition, density and grade, and do not guarantee field-life extension. The 3–5× figure is a typical range reported by the distributor, not a warranty.

09 / FAQ

Questions before
you get started.

Which wear environments suit D-Plate?

Severe abrasion from ore, coal, clinker, powder and bulk material — for example chutes, hoppers, pulverized coal pipes, cyclone and mixer liners. Where impact, heat or adhesion is involved, we adjust grade and construction.

How is D-Plate different from ordinary wear-resistant steel?

D-Plate carries a complex-carbide overlay on a steel base plate. The hard layer resists abrasion while the base plate keeps strength and makes fabrication and installation easier.

Can I consult without drawings?

Yes. Send photos of the worn part with approximate dimensions and replacement cycle. We will estimate the wear condition and propose an initial solution.

How do I request a custom product quotation?

Fill in the form on this page or email our sales team directly. Please include detailed specifications for accurate pricing.

What is the typical lead time?

It depends on product type and order size. Standard products typically ship within 2–4 weeks; custom fabrication may take 6–12 weeks. Contact us for a specific timeline.

Do you provide installation services?

We do not install directly, but we can recommend trusted partners and provide guidance and support during installation.

Can you supply internationally?
